This monster has a price tag of $999.00 and thats not even there flagship model.I was thinking of picking up one,but for $1000 BUCKS i NEED SOME FEEDBACK.

I don't have one but have played with it extensively. It of course is not progressive scan and is the same weight (9.5 lbs.) but smaller in size than their more expensive model, the 1080. It is designed as an audiophile cd player that happens to play dvds. As a stand alone cd player it is good and better than most cd players at that price point.
