Title says all. Been waiting for the next installments for months now. Seen plenty of Space 1999, Avengers, Prisoner etc... So what's the deal with the TBirds?

Sets 3 & 4 are set for a November 20 release. I'm not sure why A&E went with a nine month interval between releases but I suspect the first two sets didn't sell as well as they anticipated. (A&E expressed some surprise that Space: 1999 way outsold their expectations and they gave the impression that they thought Thunderbirds would be the more popular of the two.)
Personally, I'm anxious for the next two sets of The Saint, but am thoroughly enjoying the first set of Danger Man (Secret Agent) while I wait. I just love all these classic ITC shows and am so pleased that A&E is releasing them.

    What does F.A.B. stand for?
In the 1960's the buzz word was fabulous this became shortened to FAB and we use FAB as a code meaning your message has been received and understood.

Thanks James. I guess this hasn't made it's way into DVD Price Search's database yet....

Sets 3/4 are now out which brings us to 24 out of 32 episodes. At 3 episodes per disc (volume)or 6 per 2-disc set, we have enough remaining episodes for 3 discs. What will be on the 4th disc of Set 6?
Dare we hope for the movies: Thunderbirds are Go! and Thunderbird 6? At 89 and 86 minutes - for a total of 175 minutes might be possible as an RSDL with each movie on a single layer.
(More likely, I admit is the extra disc of interviews and behind the scenes footage that was packaged in the R2 box set. This also mirrors the Prisoner disc release / content.)
Would like to add the movies to the collection though.

Today is release day for these two sets. Has anyone actually got them? I was planning to drop by Best Buy tonight, but I doubt they would carry such an esoteric title. If any one has actually got them from there, please post a reply.

    Thanks!

They weren't in the mega box (23 DVDs) I received today. They may have shipped late. Just as well - it is gonna take me a while to enter all of the ones I did get into the database and shelves!

I picked up both set 3 & 4 at the BEST BUY in Omaha. So, I would think your BEST BUY would stock it also.

Seriously folks. If you can wait for shipping, go to DVD Price Search and look for the lowest price. $19.19 a set ain't bad.

Well, no luck here at local BB. They didn't have any copies. Just the big popular titles there.

Looks like the last two sets are due out 4/30. DVD Empire has set 5 with 5 episodes and set 6 with 3 (still 2 disks). That would complete the 32-episode set.

If anyone cares, I've seen set's 5 and 6 due 4/30 on the shelves at a certain B&M retailer already. I'm guessing this might not be isolated as I'm not sure this place makes a habit of putting out titles ahead of street. Perhaps the shipments have gone out early with permission to sell them already.

The retailer puts out prominent weekly ads.

Ditto - I have just received shipping notification from an online supplier that set's 5 and 6 were shipped today. (I had placed my order over the weekend so was pleasantly surprised that they have been released already.)

Now to wait for the movies to be released next (I hope).

    Rich P,
Bear in mind that the two widescreen feature films, THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO! (1966) and THUNDERBIRD SIX (1968), were distributed in the USA by United Artists, and the video/DVD rights in Region 1 are currently controlled by MGM (the current MGM company, that is...not Warner).
