Any news on releases of the Gangster films of the 30"s?

    Films like Angels with Dirty Faces and Little Ceaser come to mind. Its a genre that's noticeably missing on DVD.

    Little Ceasar is the only one I've actually seen. I own it on VHS and would love to have it on DVD. I'd also love to see some others released on DVD, especially the original Scarface and all the old Cagney gangster films. I'd buy them up in a heartbeat.

    Looking at IMDB it appears that in a few cases Warner has the movie rights, but MGM had the video distribution rights. I wonder if that's the hold-up. All of these titles are on VHS.

    MGM has no dvd rights to Warner's classic gangster films!
