Any news on a R1 of MICROCOSMOS?

I've found this:

But not sure if the movie is FS only. Would like WS version if one is made. Right not I only have a R1 player.

Microcosmos is available in R2 PAL English-language from Pathe with 2.0 stereo track and 1.85:1 anamorphic picture. Absolutely no special features, but if you want the movie, then you're all set assuming you have a multi-region player that converts PAL-NTSC.

I own it and enjoyed it very much.

This was announced a couple of years ago by Disney before it just slipped into limboland. Too bad, they had a great opportunity to put this out at the time WINGED MIGRATION was released, but they dropped the ball. We may never see it in Region 1 now.

I was just looking through the Upcoming Releases lists at DVD Verdict and noticed that Microcosmos has popped up again with a May 3rd, 2005 date.

No idea if the OAR is included, but it's nice to see it back on the schedule...
