Just wondering if anybody has heard any news of MGM releasing the 1938 version of A Christmas Carol on DVD any time soon?

I have the old 1990 LaserDisc release, but I want it on DVD.

I'm surprised that MGM hasn't released this yet, unless it's because Warner Brothers now owns the rights to it.

This is the version that I want most, but I haven't heard anything.

Personally, the George C Scott version is my all-time fav, but the 1938 version takes a close second.

I'd buy it on DVD instantly.

I would also love to own this on DVD. I don't think I've ever seen the entire film from start to finish.
