Any New information on WB's "The Devils"?? Is it still coming or has it been decided not to release becuase of content? Has WB given any indication it's still coming?

I'd love to know too. But it is a catalog title & those seem to be getting increasing rare.

Unfortunately - and this may be a trend - Warner Bros has not followed up on a lot of the stuff they either hinted at (like THE DEVILS) or actually said would be available shortly (Blu-ray titles such as FORBIDDEN PLANET).

Warner annouced that this was coming out on DVD earlier this year, then quickly yanked the news saying it was a mistake. After this, I am almost at the point of giving up any hope of ever seeing this on DVD by Warner. I may finally break down and go through other (regretably inferior) routes of seeing this on DVD.

There was a recent screening of THE DEVILS this year where Ken Russell appeared. He stated that WB made an uncut master (dunno whether that includes the "Rape of Christ" sequence), and they were indeed going to release it in 2008 but there was an internal change at the DVD department and it got postponed - hence the cover art release and the damage control.
