I was wondering if there are any MXC viewers.

And for those of you who don't know what MXC is,
it is a japanese gameshow, that's been dubbed with comical/sexual tones.
Playing on Spike TV, they actually started their new season little while ago.

Think American Gladiators, but little bit more ridiculous challenges.

MXC stands for Most Extreme Elimination Challenge.
I forgot what the original title is for the Japanese gameshow.

    A very funny TV show

The original title was "Takeshi's Castle" I believe.

I like MXC and watch it every once in a while, but I don't find the dubbing very funny (except the contestants' battle cries before every attempt).

We just TiVo it and FF through most of it and watch the individual challenges themselves (skipping all the not-so-witty-banter by the "hosts").

The challenges can be hilarious, though. And I'm amazed people don't get hurt-- e.g., the one where they have to run across the pond while stepping on the rocks ("Sinkers and Floaters", I think). Ouch! [IMG]

    I love those too.
Last night I was watching an older episode I have on tape, and one girl gries out

    "stick it anywhere!"

    my favorite one so far!

Yeah, sinkers and floaters appears to be the worst for people getting hurt. I don't see how they couldn't get hurt hitting those fixed "floaters".

Anyhow, I like the dialogue. It's hilarious. I guess it may be a guy thing.

Well, I *AM* a guy. [IMG]

(My name has been cause for a lot of confusion over the years. I know there are more guys named "Kelly"-- we should start a support group along with guys named Stacy, Jamie, and Shannon. [IMG])

I don't watch it routinely, but if it's on, I can't help but be transfixed. Bad jokes and violance have always done it for me.
