not including Arthur from The Tick, but looking at some really cool pictures in May's National Geographic on moths collected in a person's backyard, was wondering if a moth's wing is always a mirror image of the other wing? It seems all of the specimens that were collected and scanned into a computer using a super high resolution scanner have wings that are mirror images of each other. Wondering if that is true in general.

..and yes, I'm that far behind on my magazines...

Ha! No, not really, I'm just curious. Moths would be kind of messy as their wings kind of disintegrate into powder so you would have moss powder all over the place.. yuck! Would be hard for the Ts to catch as they don't fly either. [IMG]

AHHHH, my only phobia is of Moth's!! death to them all! They have no specific flight pattern it's like the flap there wings and just go wherever they take them.

A little wing-ectomy ought to fix that.

But what fun would that be, I like to give them half a chance. Kind of like the people who pluck the rear legs off the crickets so basically they can crawl on their front legs and await their fate.

Moths are annoying little fucks. They fly around the porch light, and will slip through that door if you don't watch out. Once they're in the house, they pick your computer monitor as a source of light and bug the hell out of you. I HATE MOTHS!!! DEATH TO THEM ALL!!! and the pan and scanners
