I am using these speakers for my HT. Got some before I joined teh HTF and have added to them since. I do not see many people here using them. I know the CirC sells them and that probably scares most people away. I happen to love their sound.

    I am running:
    IL 60s for fronts
    IL36C as a center
    Il10s as F surrounds
and am planning on another set of IL10s or IL40s for R surrounds
I have a JBL PWSB15 as a dedicated sub as well
    Denon 3802 as a receiver

    Anyone else like these speakers?

You can get some for dirt cheap on www.Ubid.com. I'm sure a few people from HTF picked them up.

I used to have the same system you are using, and they rocked pretty hard for Home Theater. I paid too much, but as the previous poster mentioned, they can be had for a more reasonable price these days.

I'm sure he's using Diva or Rockets now.

    I have a full 7.1 setup of Interlude speakers. Two 40s, 4 10s and a 25c.

I saw the $998 a pair or whatever and CirC is crazy with their prices except if you buy open box. I got a deal I though on my IL10s for $150ea - and now I get IL40s for teh same price??? Well add on $120 for shipping !!gulp!![IMG]
Oh well. Now to see if they are worth using for the rear channels or if I move them to the computer room [IMG]

I paid $699 for my IL40s with free shipping from Crutchfield when they were getting rid of the Maple ones. I'm watching Ubid for some IL60s like a hawk.

Yup, I got the same deal from Crutchfield. $699 plus free shipping for a pair of the 40s. Only mine were the cherry version, which I actually really like. Also have the 36c and IL10s for surrounds. I think they sound terriffic, and match very well with my SVS CS+.

I've not heard them yet, but I'm in the HT speaker market for a system to match with my RX-V630 receiver. I've heard there a smooth sound and not to bright. Are these a good match with the Yamahas.
Anyway go to cnet. They have reviewed all these speakers with high honors.
    Check out:

    for their reviews.

I have an Infinity Interlude setup as well, and I love the sound they produce with movies and music. I have a pair of IL30s as mains, IL25c as center with a pair of Infinity RS-3s as surrounds. Will hopefully replace RS-3s with IL10s soon. Check out my website for pictures.

Well now I feel really good about the price. These were brand new and even with shipping it is only $420 for the pair. Hopefully they survive UPS shipping OK.
They have 8 more IL40s on Ubid that will end at 9:30PM pacific time tonight. I think they are black onyx as well. Ebay also has some.
Seth_L, The IL60s are soooo awesome. I really like them and the sound so clear and the bass is really really good. I paid a grand for them shipped to my house - more than the Ubid deal but I wanted Black ones and they cost me a few more dollars to get.
Interludes are not the smallest speaker you can buy. My IL36 is the size of a microwave [IMG]

That's a hell of a deal for those speakers from Ubid. If I was looking to upgrage from bookshelves, I'd grab them for sure. I always liked Infinity speakers.

I also have an Interlude setup.

    IL40 fronts
    IL10 surround
    IL36C Center
    IL120 Sub

I have the Maple ones. They go good with the wood floors I have. I have been watching UBid and I was suprised to see that the starting cost for the Maple Interludes is much higher than the Onyx. I thought that was strange as it seems like more people want the Onyx.

Rodon, have you tried the paradigm studio and PSB stratus stuff. I felt you get more for the money with them.

More for $300 for new IL40s? I have complete 7 channel now and have a total of $1900 in them shipped to my house.

I love a lot of others but ever time I see $3000-$4000 for a set of fronts I freak.
