With all the influx of TV on DVD happenening these days any chance of this show making it??
I wouldn't count on it. I think that clearing all the music rights would be a major headache and a huge expense.
Who needs music..we can just watch Crockett and Tubbs and hum our own music if it means we can have it on dvd
Wanna hear them hum their tunes? Hear you go!
I would think there is good chance one day for this property. Try and contact Universal or Michael Mann. Its a big property dont kid yourself and with Universal getting busy with TV to DVD releases, who knows!
I am glad to see I am not the only one to own those albums.
I kinda liked the Don Johnson one.
Everybody sing HEAAAARTBEAT IM LOOOOOKIN FOR A HEAAAAART BEAT BEATING LIKE M-EYE- EYE-NE,
Ok thats enough:b
Whoa whoa WHOA, partner! I never said I OWNED them!!! I just snagged those pics from All Music Guide.
And to get back on topic, Miami Vice without the licensed music would not be the same. It was an integral part of the show and a major factor in its success.
I actually own that "Heartbeat" album. Don's a decent singer, and that album had a VERY pretty song on it . . .I think it was called "Can't Take the Memory".
IMHO, Miami Vice would be perfect for DVD and would buy this the instant it hit the shelves.
I have all of the Miami Vice lasers and they are great.
You lucky guy.
Count me in as a BIG fan. OK, OK, OK I'll admit it. I also have that album. As well as his second one.
MV is my favorite show of all times. BTW, how many seison's did this show have? And is it Universal that owns these rights? Thanks.
I have 2 Miami Vice DVDs and the 3rd one should be out in a weeks time. These are the UK release BTW so Miami Vice is on DVD.
