My wife would just kill to have this on DVD.

Any chance it will ever see the light of day?

Since it was produced by MTM Productions, the same company that produced The Mary Tyler Moore Show, which allegedly sold poorly on DVD, I wouldn't bet large sums of money on it.

I'm sure Gord was right when he said Fox there, since I believe all MTM-produced shows (like Mary Tyler Moore Show) are owned by Fox.

I'm sure RS doesn't fall into the same category as MTMS, as they are a decade apart in time, have a completely different premise and audience, and RS naturally ties in to a big budget film that is part of an ongoing major series.

For the record, in the TVShowsOnDVD voting, Remington Steele is currently the 80th most-requested series out of 3206 listings.

I'm surprised Fox hasn't announced a release of this show in time to tie it in with Die Another Day's DVD debut. Pierce Brosnan fans would surely buy it!

Please, please, please! My old videotapes from the 80's look terrible.

I enjoyed watching this some months ago when PAX (I think) ran it a while - but the video I got was really soft. I'd like to get a good transfer of this series on DVD.
