I'm looking for information on the web about how much it costs to open a dental practice? E.g., equipment costs, insurance, etc.

ANY information (web links, journals, etc.) at all would be appreciated.

My neighbor just bought a practice from someone retiring. I believe his payments are ~6k/month. Not sure how that was broken down (i.e. - equipment lease vs. purchase, office rental, etc).

He works a lot, but makes a ton o' $$$$. Actually, being in IT, I work more crazy hours than he does, have more stress, and make a lot LESS...... I also get paged more when we are on call.

sounds like a pretty sweet deal. after you do all the work that is associated with becoming a dentist, that is.
