I know this is probably not a real familiar amp to most of you folks. The reason I am interested in it is because my wife will receive a $750 award for her 15 years at Pioneer later this year. It is only good towards Pioneer equipment.
Still need help on this amp. Any help would be appreciated![IMG]

Still looking for help on this unit.

How would it compare to say the Adcom GFA-5300 or GFA-5400 amps. You may want to check out the Pioneer Elite M-72 using the link I have prvided above.

If no help can be given on this amp, I will let this post die. I know it is not a well known unit. Thanks people!:b :b :b

I don't think this is a particular popular amp, so not a lot of people will have experience with it. Anyway, Pioneer aren't very well known for their amps. Based on the minor power output increase going from 8ohm to 4 ohm, I would have to say that at least it doesn't have a robust power supply like many other separate power amps. I don't think it would compare favorably to Adcom amps. If you have $750 credit towards Pioneer products, I'd suggest using them towards their Elite DVD players, receivers or TVs, in that order.
