I just closed out my safety deposit box and have a TON of coins and proof sets that were in there. What I want to know...what website you use to determine the value of coins and best way to sell'em.

    Thanks in advance

Scooter, go to a good bookstore or coin dealer and grab a copy of "Coin World". It's a weekly newspaper

Yes, check out a dealer...they usually get a weekly newsletter with fair market value coin prices.

I only collect the state quarters, but that's it. I'd like to collect other coins too someday.

My dad is a big-time numismatist. He deals mostly in Proof Flying Eagle and Indian Head cents. I'll ask him when he's around later tonight what he usually looks at. I know he uses a bunch of different publications for news and trends but only one major one for current prices.

Back when I was collecting, Coin World was the bible.

    I imagine it still is.
