any chevy blazer owners? (1 Viewer)

I need to know how much the bumper can tow with a ball boltd to it, if anyone heppens to know
I can't find it online, I know with a class 3 hitch the thing can tow 5k pounds.

if the bumper has a provision to bolt a ball to it, it is usually stamped on the bumper somewhere what the capacity is, if not, it is in the owners manual
if you can find nothing, I would not use it for towing

What Year and model? Blazers have been made for quite a while, and it various different sizes.

Usually bumpers are pretty low-rated. Try www.Sportsrack.com , they may have some literature for the bumper if they sell a wiring harness to fit it.

I don't own one, or I obviously would be looking there.

This is all it mentions on the website (chevy's)

The weight-carrying hitch limit for Blazer is a 3,500 lb. trailer with 350 lb. tongue weight. Weight-distributing hitch and sway control required over 3,500 lb. trailer weight.


That might be my answer, but I'm not sure.
