Any chance of some sort of device for sale in the near future for progressive scan capability through the xbox?

One more question. How will the sound for dvd's be from the xbox to my h/k 520 receiver be compared to a 200.00-250.00 stand alone dvd player to my receiver? Does the xbox pass as good or better of a sound signal to the reciever compared to a 2-250.00 stand alone dvd player?

Todd, progressive playback is possible (it was removed at the last minute in fact), but it's unlikely that they will enable it...an aftermarket hack might be a possibility, too.

The sound output is pretty much identical to a $200-$250 stand alone player.
