Surely I would have thought there would have been a few Black Hawk Down SB reviews out by now. Perhaps everyone is taking a look at the Spider-Man SB?;)

I hope to do a comparison of BHD US single disc vs.
BHD US SE 2 disc vs. BHD Korean SE Superbit 2 disc +
soundtrack CD.

It will take some time! :b

Thanks Fellas! I just have to read 'em and decide if I want to upgrade from my 3-disc version. If so, there'll be one for sale soon!

I thought there was a U.S. single disc (why bother now), the U.S. Deluxe Edition 3-discer, this new U.S. Superbit and the Korean 4-discer mentioned in the HomeTheaterSpot.com review . . .?? Or are you referring to the releases by how many discs the movie proper is spread over, as opposed to the total # of discs in the release?

Does anyone know if the subtitles are burned in or player generated on this DVD?

Deciding to buy this version of BHD. Please post your opinions on the audio and video side of the Superbit version compared to the Deluxe.

Thanks!

"Is there no one else?! Is there no one else!?!" :D

Did you read the reviews linked to in post #s 3 and 4? The aud and vid improvements are marginal. Your interest in and desire to have the Deluxe 3-discer's wonderful supps is a far more determinative factor IMO.

The R3 BHD Superbit, which I have, has noticabley improved video, and the DTS track blows away the DD track. Just my 2 cents.

Comparison done! :emoji_thumbsup:

Check it out here;

http://www.compare.dvdbeaver.com/

If someone can check the VOB file dates or bit rate
graph of the US superbit then we can confirm if the
US Superbit disc is the same as the Korean Superbit.
The Korean disc 2 & 3 had the same file dates as the
US disc 2 & 3!
