my roommate's car got smashed into on friday and some of her stuff stolen, so rather than pay almost 300 bucks to get her window replaced I ordered one from a salvage yard and plan to put it in myself, seems pretty straight forward, unbold the old guide from the regulator, then slip the new glass in.
Any tips for getting the glass into the track? :)

$300????
SF is cheaper than ND on something
I have been to the place rated #1 to go to "when some asshole smashes your window" amd there is not a lot to do so I watchfront windshield seems tricky, side easy but things like power windows can make it tricky
Take your time it always takes over an hour

all that worry over nothing. It seriously took less than 10 minutes to drop the glass in the door, get her in the track and bolted to the regulator. There are some tiny glass bits in the track to work out, but a high power vacuum should work that out.
total cost, 105 bucks, would have been $60 but she wanted the glass shipped overnight
