Any advise with Onkyo CHAD remote? (1 Viewer)

I'm interested in the Onkyo CHAD remote, but I'm not very interested in the price (approx $500). I'm wondering if anyone sees this as a good buy or if there are remotes out there that do the same things but cost less. Thanks!

The Onkyo Chad is just a Pronto that has been rebadged. The only major difference that I know of is that the CHAD can do RF control of IR components (NOT control RF equipment) with an optional base station. You can find a TSU 2000 Pronto and probably get the charger as well for less than $500.
