anti-glare screens (1 Viewer)

I have a room that my tv is located in right now that has almost nothing but windows. I have a pretty bad glare problem during the middle of the day. Its a 57" Hitachi. Do you have any recommendations on a good brand? Do the screens make your picture look darker?

your 57" hitachi alreay has the "antiglare" screen built into it. However, it is really a "glare" screen.

The factory guys tell you that the glare screen can not be removed, but I do it all the time and is part of my standard calibration package, and takes a while to do on the Hitachi sets.
