The subject says it all. I'd really enjoy hearing what people thought if they directly compared (i.e. A/B'd) these two pre/pros. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each?
I know the AVM-20 has about every imaginable feature while the MC-1 lacks some, but then again the MC-1 has Logic7 and the AVM-20 doesn't.
Which one is the better HT processor? 2-channel audio?
What supporting electronics were used in the comparison?

I don't have experience with the Anthem. I would think the Integra RDC7 prepro is a competitor to the Anthem, and the Onkyo 989 (as a prepro) should be 90+ percent of the Integra (same chassis, menus, features). I don't know if you've read my thread yet, comparing MC1 vs 989:

    Hi Ricky T,

Yes, I did read your post about the MC-1 compared to the Onkyo 989.

I think the RDC-7 may be a little more cashola than the AVM-20 from what I've heard, but good point nonetheless as the RDC-7 seems to be pretty full-featured.
