After poking around on the site, looks pretty legit.

Either way, great deals to be had for many products. Anybody got firsthand experience with these guys?

I've ordered several products from this site and I have no reason to believe they're not totally legitimate. The products are brand-new factory-sealed. I've found that in many cases their prices are very, very competitive, so the AVM-20 price does not really surprise me that much.

My only complaint with this vendor is that every now and then they drop the ball and somehow "lose track" of an order. By that I mean that the order never makes it to their shipping area and you have to call to "remind them" that the order was never shipped (why this happens I have no idea and it is very frustrating!). This has happened to me twice, and in each case the owner of the company has offered things to make up for the problem, such as free shipping, or more expensive equipment for the price of the original equipment. I've subsequently received the products in a day or two and have had no problems.

Aside from not having a very good order/ship process, I've been very happy and have saved a bundle through this site.

Hope this helps.

Yea, I found this one a while back. Great price but they're not an "authorized dealer". If that doesn't matter to you, go for it.
I felt that with the impending upgrade on it's way I wanted a good dealer relationship...and buying from an unauthorized dealer wasn't the best way to establish that rapport. :)

I will never "attempt" to buy anything from reliable A/V again. A few months ago they had a great deal on the B&K 7270 amp i was looking to purchase (i believe it was $2,299) so I ordered it. I received an email the next day telling me they were out of stock and would have more in in a few weeks so they were cancelling my order and would let me know when they got more in...which would be fine, except that i checked their website a few days later and it said they had them in stock...for $2,499. I think they just didn't want to sell me one for the lower price. Maybe they are legit, I got my amp someplace else for the same price reliable originally had it at so i didn't bother complaining about it too much. Just thought i'd share my experience.

Well I have heard reliable is just another front store for Uncles Stereo in NY. That being said, I got my 49TX from Uncles. Although I had a good experience, I know you really have to be careful when ordering from these guys. You gotta be on their back EVERY DAY to make sure your order shipped until you get a tracking #. Also drive it home to them that you want to make sure the item is in stock and will ship tomorrow. Many times retaliers will simply lie to you that they have the item in stock to get you to place the order, then string you along for weeks w/o delivering the merchandise. If your going to give it a shot, I would spring for next day air shipping, so you can get it in your hands asap and cancel the order in 1-2 days if they don't deliver. Also be aware, the charge your cc before shipping.

I've used them several times. Equipment purchased included Denon 3802, 4802 receivers and a whole Klipsch surrond reference package. They got one of the best prices on the web. Items were double boxed and delivered on time. I'm happy with their service but seems like other buyers have had some problems with them.

I can confirm this. Before they told me they didn't have the B&K 7270 in stock, they told me it would ship from Uncle's Stereo in NY and they charged my credit card. The charge was backed off a few days after i received the email from them saying they were cancelling my order.
