I don't know how many people have been following the discussions about the Davis Labs Processor One, but if you have then this thread from avsforum should make you happy:

I sure hope this thing comes out soon. Whenever it does though, I'm sure I'll still be waiting for a Ref 30 update from B&K!

Camp, Not really sure. I think the original price guess was somewhere in the $3-4k range, but I think that has been revised upward. I think it also depends on the options that you choose. Again, not really sure though. I think I could handle ~$5k if they toss in a Faroudja DCDi based video processor in that baby!

Processor One is the affordable pre-processor ...

We can hope, I guess! But the dang thing simply *looks* expensive.
