That was quick. It's only been out for about a year, hasn't it?

It's probably worth noting that MGM is releasing this in April with an anamorphic transfer (the Criterion disc is non-anamorphic) and the same extra (a trailer).

I just found out this title is OOP; I'm kinda bummed. I guess I've been lucky on getting some of the titles before they went OOP (Robocop, Hard Boiled, Silence of the Lambs, Dead Ringers), but some I wanted to kick myself over (Sid & Nancy, The Killer, and now this one). Then there are the re-released titles but not in their original packaging -- Beauty and the Beast and 400 Blows.

I'm trying to complete my collection, but due to the expense of CC it is going fairly slow. Anyway...without ordering through an auctioning service (e.g. EBay or half.com), does anybody know of a successful way for me to get a copy of this title? I've tried Borders and Barnes and Noble, which normally carry CC titles, but both stores did checks for me and could not find any other store within my region that had the title in stock.

    Any help would be appreciated!

I hope MGM uses the original theatrical poster art that Criterion used on the LD (which I have).

They don't. Go over to thedigitalbits.com. I believe they have the new cover art in their upcoming DVD art section.
