How much longer can a lack of originality go on? Thank goodness I can watch real TV on DVD, I don't think I can stand regular fare anymore these days.

I dunno....I kinda like the idea. It's like The Osborne's but with a hound dog and a Trans Am in the front yard with a bad carburator!

    I think it has potential!

Sounds like a fun show to me, actually. I hope it's not mean-spirited. I also hope they pick a bunch of real "hicks". [IMG]
Well, aren't hillbillies known for their family love? [IMG]

    Everyone sing along:

Come and listen to a story 'bout a man named Les,
He's got CBS in an awful little mess.
I've been mad at him since he cancelled "Bette,"
And this new idea is as low as he can get.
    Bad, that is.
    Junk culture; waste of time.

Well first thing you know, "Survivor" is a hit,
What the schedule is now starts with "S" and rhymes with "pit."
This new idea is as bad as it can be,
And thank God for the player that is known as DVD.
    Disc, that is.
    Many titles, no commercials.

    (closing theme)
And now it's time to say goodbye to Les and all his ilk,
For out of precious time he is content to rob and bilk.
This trend has got to stop before it gets way out of hand
For its popularity is something I don't understand.
    Confusing, that is.
    No idea what provokes it.
Y'all get some new ideas now, y'hear?

    And now, there's this:
First 'Hillbillies,' now 'Acres' to get real
"Green Acres"? Are they going to audition pigs as well? (Can't have GA without Arnold)
Where will this stop?? I can just see the next announcement:
