    Hi All,
I hope someone here can help me out with this so here goes:
I have Klipsch RF3II speakers that are bi-wireable/bi-ampable. I also have an Onkyo 797 receiver with an external Parasound 5 channel amp. This is what i would like to do:
I want to use 4 channels of the Parasound to bi-amp my main speakers. I would then use the remaining channel to run the second rear center(Onkyo has the pre-out for the second rear center but only one of the rear centers is powered.) My question is this:
Do i need an external crossover to bi-amp my mains? If so, will the Outlaw ICBM work for this? I believe the main speakers have a 1975hz internal crossover if that helps. An help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.[IMG]

Strange, I thought I answered this one. Maybe it was on another Forum…

Anyway, you can use the Parasound with no problem. The Klipschs’ internal crossover will be used, as is the case with every other speaker set-up for bi-wire or bi-amping.

I don’t think this is what the ICBM is designed for, but in any event there is no reason to use an outboard electronic crossover unless you plan to gut the speaker’s passive crossover
