Just a reminder that there will be an solar eclipse today. For more information about this eclipse here's one website. They have a world map and a US map showing exactly where the eclipse will be viewable and to what degree. This is exciting for me because it will be the first eclipse my kids get to see (I've been teaching my son about the phases of the moon and the rotation of the moon and earth around the sun), it's also the last one the US will see until 2005, and...we're going in to the hospital today to have a baby (at the exact time of the eclipse). So I'm going to get a pin hole viewer set up for my mother-in-law to show my kids, and I'll make a second for the hospital (hopefully we'll get a west facing room). The website I linked to above will also have a webcam setup for those who aren't in the area for seeing it.
