I always redeem thru MA and it will always port to iTunes in 4K and then to Vudu when they work it out. UHD titles have shown up in my Vudu library months after redeeeminv a UHD code. iTunes is so much better anyway because of the iTunes extras.

Movies Anywhere is celebrating their one-year anniversary by offering up to three movies when you connect and sync two accounts.

Get Happy Feet in HD when you sync your first retailer, The Martian (Theatrical Cut) and Fate of the Furious (F8) in HD when you sync the second.

I guess I will no longer be redeeming codes on Vudu, then....

Yeah, that’s definitely not correct information. Most UHD codes redeem just fine on Vudu. The problem with this specific case is that the Matrix bundle code unlocks the Vudu bundle only (which isn’t available in UHD) whereas the individual titles are available in UHD. Vudu could, and should fix that so that you get them in UHD.

I received an email from Movies Anywhere thanking me for syncing all 6 accounts (I did that a long time ago) and including a code for redeeming all three of these films. Pretty cool!

I think what the Vudu rep was implying (true or not) is that redeeming a UHD code on Vudu directly will no longer give you UHD.

That is why "true or not" is in parenthesis.

A 2013 post that I have to agree with. I love 4K/UHD, Blu-ray and DVD discs, but downloads and streaming has opened up another avenue for me to enjoy even more classic films.

I have an interest in adding as many Fox titles to my digital library before Disney completes the purchase. I'm focusing on my film noir collection, which I have several of the DVDs. There's only a few available for Vudu's M2D, and then a couple more that are available as digital purchases period.

Fallen Angel (1945) appears to be problematic. It's $4.99 at Amazon, which is what the M2D price would be at Vudu. I'm pretty sure I saw it available at Vudu for $10 a few weeks ago, because I have it noted, but it's not showing in any searches right now. In fact, the only other service I can find it even mentioned is FandangoNow, and they don't have it for sale.

Bigger issue is that I don't see a MA logo on it.

“Sahara” (1943) is on sale for $4.99 in HD on iTunes. Also, over 200 titles on sale on iTunes.

I think I spent about $100 on titles this morning. Including Sahara.
