    Just received a note from Public Relations of 5.1 Entertainment (Silverline, immergent, Electromatrix labels)
    These labels will be lowering their retail prices to $17.98, representing a 25% decrease, as confirmed by Jeff Dean, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing. From the letter:

    This price drop positions a superior audio format, DVD-A as comparable in price to the CD while offering consumers a much more enriched music experience.

    With the big name bands that these guys have on their 5.1 channel dvd-a, this is good news indeed. Looks like Warners has started a trend. Let's hope it continues!

    Discounts on their titles showed up on several of the online sites in the past two days. DVD Empire has titles at $15.28 and Digital Eyes has them for $13.98.
