Best way to get The Tick on DVD

Get all your friends to watch it on Toon Disney weeknights at 8pm!!

Just like family guy on cartoon network they see the ratings and they pump it right out on DVD if they know they can make the money

So spread the word!!!!

Great news, but I noticed the article mentioned 36 episodes-is that really all there were? It seemed like there were more... Either way, here's hoping for a one volume "complete" release!

It'll probably be split into 2 volumes.

Not necessarily. Disney's "Spider-Man: The '67 Collection" had 52 half-hour episodes on six discs. Based on that, I'm sure they could fit all the "Tick" episodes onto four discs, especially since the "Tick" eps are shorter due to the additional commercial time in a television episode in the early 90's as opposed to the late 60's.

This is FANTASTIC news - many thanks for posting it here!
When I told a friend of mine, he actually started rolling around on the ground shouting "YES!" at the top of his lungs.
So, at least two people will be buying it :)

Any idea if this is going to be world-wide or just a Region 1 release?
I'm happy to import, but I generally prefer to buy the local release if the feature sets are the same.

This is a little disappointing.
A little disappointing??? It outright sucks!
This smacks of a profit grab. I'll bet they plan on dribbling out four overpriced sets with 9 eps per set. This SHOULD have been a 5 or 6 disc complete set.
I have to wonder what brainless suit came up with this stellar idea.
FU Disney. You turned a sure sale into a "no buy" for me.
