I was going to get Animal House, but found that it has been discontinued and is not available anywhere. Is there any news on what is happening with this movie?

I picked this up at a COCONUTS music store which sells all their stuff at retail prices. It was the last one.
If you want to buy this dvd check everywhere that sells their dvd's at full retail prices because nobody shops there, so they should have copies left.

I sure hope so! At least the P&S crapola version should disappear too. [IMG]

If you enroll in Columbia House's Favorite Frat Comedies Video Library, you can get the CE of Animal House for $4.88! That's 89 cents for the DVD and $3.99 for shipping. Animal House is your introductory DVD and you can cancel your enrollment after receiving the disk.

There was a special edition already released. I remember pre-ordering the first version and then cancelling the pre-order when it was announced as not being in the OAR.
The special edition has a nice documentary on it.
There is a John Belushi box set with 1941, Blues Brothers and it says special edition of Animal House. Hopefully that isn't a misprint.
