Angle of RPTV's. (1 Viewer)

For all the RPTV owners out there.....we all know the angle of viewing for these tv's is not that great, but i have been told it has gotten better throughout the years.

How would you rate the angle of viewing?
It obviously is not as good as Direct View Sets but arent some sets better then others?

my ht/living room is 13 feet wide. the couch is 9 feet away from the screen. i can get the same image from the tv on a chair up against either side wall. doesnt even start to lose brightness. works for me!
