This was on the slate for March from Criterion, but it's no longer listed on their website. However, DVDPlanet and Amazon still have it listed as a March 29th release. What's up?

Criterion has said by email that the Wajda set has been delayed until "later in the Spring". Amazon (Canada) lists it as coming out on April 5th. We should get the official announcement at the end of the week, when Criterion is likely to post its April schedule.

Thanks for the info, Brian. Let's hope it won't be delayed by more than a month.

It doesn't surprise me that it was delayed. With a couple February releases getting pushed into March it seemed like there was a heavy schedule for Criterion that month.

I've been waiting for Ashes & Diamonds for a long time now. Just a spectacular film. Looking forward to seeing the other two films for the first time when this is released. [IMG]

I was hoping it was just delayed and not cancelled. I know Kanal and Ashes and Diamonds are available from Facets but I hear the discs aren't all that great. Guess I can go ahead and donate my VHS copies of the trilogy to the library. [IMG]
