Even more unbelievable that the fact tha the guy is actually trying to sell a cardboard box is that (as of now) 2 different people are actually bidding on it.
Of course, they both have little or no feedback rating, so they may not know how things work....but it seems easy to see in the body of the auction that the guy is kind of treating it as a joke.....I mean $10 shipping for an empty box? NOBODY could be that stupid.
Personally, I wouldn't sell the box mine came in....most folks won't see that you've got an XBOX in your equipment rack, but they will notice the box that you've conviniently left in plain sight. [IMG]

Crazy, but does anyone remember that infamous PS2 eBay entry from around the time of the consoles US release? It was just the box and was fetching $200+ bids from those made unaware by the sellers subtle word use. Sick trick to play...

that's why you ALWAYS read the description carefully before you buy something. This kind of sale is a testament to that. It also amazes me how many people buy 'URLs' to buy things.

Bidding is over $100 if anybody cares......

The deal is that he's very clear about it just being the box. He says it 4 or 5 times in the description.
