Was Memento actually up for last year's BAFTA's due to the tiered release?

Otherwise the screenplay dismissal seems odd.

No I don't think Memento was up for anything last year

I was surprised at this too.

Good to see Sir Ian up for Best Actor for FotR!!
Simon, you left Peter Jackson out of the Directing category - he was indeed nominated (according to the BAFTA web site).

I thought there was one missing, but I got this list from another site, and I was disappointed when I thought he might not have been nominated

Good to see he is (and hope he wins)

Anyone else notice Eddie Murphy nominated for Shrek?
Must be the first time voice-acting has been nominated for an acting award, and why not? Murphy was one of the big reasons I found Shrek so funny.[IMG]
Personally I want Fellowship of the Rings to win every single award it was nominated for, and no I don't give two figs for the others, ok maybe Shrek.[IMG]
