Has anyone out there tried the trick on an AV-32260 or an equivalent 32" JVC? The setttings that are posted at JVC Calibration are for a 36" and do not work for my 32". Granted, I could determine the right settings with a lot of trial and error, but if anyone has already done this and I can "piggy-back," I'd be grateful!

I have the same 32d501 and it works great for me.

    vsize from 57 to 29

    vcenter from 42 to 30

side pin from 39 to 27

    trapez from 35 to 55

Of course this probably varies for each different tv.

I suggest putting up a normal 4:3 lbx image and use yellow stickies to mark the top and bottom of the image, then shift it to anamorphic and squeeze until it fits.

You will then need to adjust the vertical postion to get rid of the top lines of noise and fix the side pin and trapezoid settings due to your vertical adjustment.

It doesn't take that long to do and it does result in a noticable improvement. I don't know if I can see any more detail by doing it this way but from my seating position I go from almost seeing scan lines to not seeing any at all.
