Sorry if this has already been posted. Says, "Anamorphically remastered from a new print." Too bad its only DD 2.0. Comes out 8/23/02. This could bode well for an R1 anamorphic release.

Yes, this is fairly old news. Unfortunately like so many Dino DeLaurentas films, Dune is owned by different companies in different parts of the world

And if it's not the Smithee cut, I'm not buying it anyway without a VERY packed extras section (right, that's going to happen)

Thats too bad. I'll go ahead and get it since its the only anamorphic (NTSC) version available.
