I was just browsing through Elusive Disc's catalogue, and they have a bunch of blues hybrid SACDs from Analogue Productions. They're mostly artists I've never heard of, but it looks interesting. Anybody hear any of these?

And this, of course, begs the question: why aren't all SACDs hybrids?

NP: David Bowie, Low, CD, at the urgent insistance of HTF members.

Please tell us what you think about "Low" after you've given it a few listens.

I'd be interested to know if it still sounds fresh today from someone who has never heard it before.

I assume you are talking about Wild Child Butler, Jimmie Lee Robinson, etc.

Out of all the the APO blues SACDs, of which I own 4, my favorite is by and far the Wild Child Butler "Sno Nuff" - very good rocking blues harp player, and then the Jimmie Lee Robinson would be my second favorite - blues guitar. The 2 other titles I purchased were alright - but won't get much play.

By the way the discs sound excellent, either way.
