You can't turn off DRC on the sets you can only adjust the clarity/reality on the DRC pallete as well as switch from interlaced, progressive, and cinemotion.

the only bad thing is that it does not play at the same time as the regular telecast, it plays at 6pm, not 8pm.

That's a wierd one. I wonder why it's like that.

Back to the topic of analog and the 34XBR, how does everyone like the stretch mode(s) on this thing when watching 4:3 broadcasts? I figure I'd be using it a lot for a while.
