I have a listening mode preference for for analog/PCM sources on my Onkyo 595. Does Analog include SACD? Will this setting affect SACD multichannel or 2 channel SACD listening? Or will it not affect it because SACD is something different. I'd like to know so I can change it when I listen to say TV or regular CD's. Thx.

Does no one know? Does the analog preference setting affect SACD 2 or multichannel listening?

You should be running your SACD player in complete analog bypass, so no mode on your receiver should be affecting anything if you want everything that SACD can offer.

You mentioned in another thread you were running in direct mode. I'm not familiar with Onkyos, but be careful because with some receivers all that means is the tone controls are bypassed.
