I am in a marketing class at school, and as part of a final project we had to come up with an idea for a new type of roller coaster at six flags. I chose to base mine around Amplitude for the PS2 and now I have to take a mock survey of 15 people, so I would be extremely appreciative if anyone would be willing to take the time to answer a few questions.

At the top, please list your name, gender, age, and address.
And please list your responses to as many of the following questions as apply to you. (if you don't feel comfortable giving all of the requested information, feel free to leave it out)

1. Do you enjoy playing video games? (if not move on to question 7)

2. Which types of video games do you enjoy? (action/adventure, puzzle, RPG, sports, music based games)

3. Have you ever played Amplitude for the PS2?

4. On a scale of 1-5 (5 being the best) how would you rate amplitude in the following categories? (visuals, music, fun factor, overall)

5. Did you like the song choices?

6. If not, how would you have them changed?

7. Do you listen to music? (if not, move on to question 9)

8. What are you favorite types of music?

9. Do you enjoy riding roller coasters? (if not move on to question 11)

10. Which type of harness do you prefer? (lap bar, shoulder, other)

11. Have you ever been to a six flags theme park? (if not, move on to question 17)

12. On a scale of 1-5 (5 being the best) how would you rate the park's roller coasters?

13. What were your favorite roller coasters, if any? (if none, move on to question 16)

14. What did you like?

15. What did you dislike?

16. What would you have changed if anything?

17. Have you ever gone on a ride or attraction that involved the use of VR technology? (if no, move on to question 19)

18. What are/were your feeling about such a ride?

19. How would you feel about riding a roller coaster which involved the use of such technology?

20. Do you like the idea if an interactive roller coaster, or do you prefer the traditional type?

If you took the time to complete the survey, I thank you very much.

1. Do you enjoy playing video games?

YES!

2. Which types of video games do you enjoy?

RPGs, action, sports, movie tie-ins :)

3. Have you ever played Amplitude for the PS2?

Er, no. :b

4. On a scale of 1-5 (5 being the best) how would you rate amplitude in the following categories? (visuals, music, fun factor, overall)

n/a

5. Did you like the song choices?

dunno

6. If not, how would you have them changed?

Add more Beastie Boys. :)

7. Do you listen to music? (if not, move on to question 9)

Wha? Of course!

8. What are you favorite types of music?

Dancy stuff, Beasties, NIN, The Beatles, Zepplin, Floyd, ELO, Weird Al

9. Do you enjoy riding roller coasters?

YES!

10. Which type of harness do you prefer?

You name it, I'm down. I just hate "free fall" rides, but if it's got any kind of roller coaster track, I'm down. (Oh, 'harness'... I like the over-the-shoulders type.)

11. Have you ever been to a six flags theme park?

Yes. Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey.

12. On a scale of 1-5 (5 being the best) how would you rate the park's roller coasters?

5.6!

13. What were your favorite roller coasters, if any?

Nitro, Batman & Robin: Freeze Thingie, and Medusa at 6 Flags. (They have an all new "Superman Ultimate Flight" up this year but I haven't been able to try it out yet.) There are also a few AMAZING rides at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia such as The Big Bad Wolf and The Loch Ness Monster.

14. What did you like?

Anything that goes extremely fast while turning. The scarier the better.

15. What did you dislike?

Waiting in lines, man. It's awful.

16. What would you have changed if anything?

You can never go wrong by giving people a LONG roller coaster ride.

17. Have you ever gone on a ride or attraction that involved the use of VR technology?

Does a "Muppets in 3-D" movie count? ;)

18. What are/were your feeling about such a ride?

I love the Muppets.

19. How would you feel about riding a roller coaster which involved the use of such technology?

Try and keep me off such a ride.

20. Do you like the idea if an interactive roller coaster, or do you prefer the traditional type?

Tough to say, as 'traditional' is all I know. But as VR technology gets more and more advanced, I think rides will get cooler and crazier.

--Hope that helps...
