I'm a home theater designer in NY. You should seriously consider the Yamaha line. We have used almost every brand out there. We keep coming back to the Yamaha. You should consider the RX-V2300 and the RX-V3300. They are incredible controllable with extended ir commands for just about every function imaginable. If you need more info and the extended ir codes email me at hdtv9@aol.com.

There is no receiver like Denon's AVR-3802 & is priced very reasonable. AVR-3803 is even better & AVR-5803 is the best based on how much you want to spend.
    Visit the link
    http://www.usa.denon.com/catalog/products.asp?l=1
Look under Discontinued Products Archive to get information for AVR-3802 & under Dolby Digital, DTS &THZ A/V Receivers for information on AVR-3803 and AVR-5803
    Good luck.
