Amp upgrade to old M&K sub.. (1 Viewer)

I recently got an M&K MX-90 sub,good size cabinet,two 12's in a push pull setup.Just by using it a week or so,I would say it is just a bit more than my Rava.Only thing that bugs me is that the amp is only 125w.Would there be any problem in my getting a good plate amp,Parts Express 250, or a Rythmik 350w,and using one of them?Would probly build a small enclosure for the amp rather than cut into the sub.It would seem that this sub w/2 12's would really come to life with more power.Am I missing something that would make this not work out ??

The amps in those MK MX subs are very conser. rated. I don't think you'll gain anything by replacing it with another amp.
