Ok, that MCM sale got me :D
250W amp is here, 22"x2' tube is ordered (~149.5 L), now it comes to the driver question.
What would you recommend for a sealed enclosure in this case?

Jedd, I would check out the Dayton 15" DVC at Parts Express which is quite similar to the Adire Tempest. It's on sale now for $99 but will go back to its normal price of ~$133 tomorrow. So check it out!

Do you usually order anything else from the PE when you build a sub? (so they could ship in the same package)

The second link. But if you are using a plate amp, you're right - you won't need the terminal cup (I'm used to passive subs). You will just need to run the subwoofer output from the receiver to the place amp to drive the amp.

You can get wire/terminal connectors at Home Depot as well as Radio shack.

Parallel if you are using a dual voice coil driver.
