AMC now a non-entity...but do they have a new channel in the wings? (1 Viewer)

AMC has gone from being the second-best cable movie channel (runner-up to TCM) to a bottom-of-the-barrel, total bullshit channel hardly better than USA. But I did hear a rumor some months back that they might have an off-shoot channel in the wings that would be that AMC had wanted to be in the first place - a true TCM competetor. Anyone have info about this?

But does anyone know yet whether this is to be a non-commercial channel, and without the insufferable logo "bug" affixed permanently to the lower right corner of the screen?

How would we know whether a logo is going to be affixed on the screen until it comes on the air? Personally, I don't have high hopes on this latest AMC endeavor.
