I was just watching a movie and noticed a faint ring of light that is projected quite a bit outside of the image area. At first I thought it was some wierd refection, but it wasn't. The light gets less intense when the pj is zoomed in as far as it goes, and more intense when zoomed out. I don't know if it was always there, and I just noticed it now, or if it just started. It is very annoying to me now. I could mask it out around the lense, but my pj is less than 2 weeks old, so I shouldn't have to do that. sound like a deffect or anything you guys have heard of?
    Thanks
    Joe

This sounds like normal light spill to me. Most digital projectors have this, as far as I know. Masking is a good option, either masking around the screen, or placing a mask close to the lens (some people take a lens cap, and cut a rectangular hole in it).
