A little later this year but it is coming soon. It was July 11 and 12 in 2023 and July 12 and 13 in 2022. From the article I linked to"

"If you're one of the smarties who hits the sale every year to save on their shopping list, you know that not all deals offer real savings between inflated MSRPs and products sitting at their "discounted" price for months."

Some movie/TV disc deals that caught my attention (partly because I'd been waiting for better prices):

*Elizabeth 4K - $12.99 - hasn't been available via Target nor Gruv, so probably the lowest it's ever been and possibly might ever get given our current context going forward (though it still might get a bit lower for a future BF week, but hard to say anymore)

*Color Purple 4K - $12.99 - probably lowest it's been so far, but could probably get lower by BF week on Gruv

*Titanic 4K - $17.99 - this also might not ever get lower since it's Titanic

*All 3 volumes of Hitchcock 4K boxsets - $34-35 each - that might be lowest outside Gruv, especially the most recent set that might not have gotten that low on Gruv before (yet)

*Sony's Classics 30th Anniv 4K (big) boxset - ~$122 - not quite sure, but that might be its lowest ever

Other things of potential interest:

*Apple Watch Series 9 - ~$310 - was tempted at that price since I'll soon need a new replacement/upgrade from my Fitbit Versa 3, but its battery life still doesn't last more than a full day, and I'm used to having 5+ days battery life when new and only thinking to replace/upgrade because my current Fitbit only lasts 2+ days now (after ~3 years); looks like I'll probably just spring for the Fitbit Sense 2

*Fitbit Sense 2 - ~$180 (plus extra 5% cashback for 10% total w/ Prime Visa)

*Apple AirPods Max - just below $400 - is that the lowest ever?

*Sony WH-1000XM5 - ~$300 - basically Sony's direct competitor to AirPods Max

*Sony WH-1000XM4 - ~$200 - that's usually the price for refurbed; former direct competitor to AirPods Max and the new version 1000XM5 is supposedly just a very minor update/revision

I picked up Batman: Mask of the Phantasm UHD for $14.99. Didn't see any other titles that I wanted. Was offered 7% rewards on my Amazon Prime VISA instead of the normal 5% for deferred shipping. That's the first time I have seen a 7% offer for this -- it's usually 6%.

I did pick up an Anker 65W portable charger with two USB-C and one USB-A connections to use when traveling.

FWIW, they seem to be offering extra 2% cashback using their CCs for no-rush delivery on Prime Day(s) instead of the usual extra 1%.

GRUV is starting to match the Universal and Warner Bros titles.

The Hitchcock 4k and Universal Classic Monster 4K and blu ray sets are being matched .

If you get 20% off SIGNUP20 coupon to work you at 20% off sale price. GRUV does tend to run out of stock and then you can't order.

I ended up buying Hitchcock 4K Vol 3 for $27.99 and American Graffiti 4K for $9.59 at GRUV plus tax using the coupon. They allowed me to put Hitchcock set in cart as it said it was available but once in cart it said out of stock. Since it was in cart I could order it.

Man, How many hours a day do you wear the Fitbit Versa 3? I have the Apple Watch 8. I wear it all day and keep it on while I sleep so that it tracks my sleep and serves as as my morning alarm. I only take it off while I am showering/getting dressed for work, which is usually a 30-45 minute period. The watch is fully charged after that time, so I never have to worry about it going dead. Both my iPhone and Apple Watch go into sleep mode at my appointed bedtime and they use less energy while in that mode, but they still record my sleep, heartbeat, oxygen, etc..

I often leave my Fitbit on for multiple days straight except when showering of course (although it only lasts 2-plus days between full recharges nowadays).

Part of the issue is all such devices *will* inevitably have battery life degrade over time, so even if the Watch 9 is perfectly fine (w/ daily recharge) at first, it most likely won't be in a couple years (just like all my iPhones couldn't usually last thru 2 days after say 1-to-1.5-year usage... although my 13 Pro has done better than all previous iPhones in that regard so far). I don't want to have to upgrade every year or two, especially for something like this (even though the Watch 9 isn't quite that expensive, but still costs nearly 2x the Fitbit Sense 2 w/ current sales).

It would probably help if I'm more convinced though of whatever additional benefits that the Watch 9 has over the Fitbit Sense 2, heh... I mean, I'm basically, really never w/out my iPhone afterall -- well, except I don't use my iPhone on the toilet (like some seem to), LOL. Only thing I can think of is making Apple Pay that bit more convenient perhaps, which is not a big deal to me, especially after Apple made it more convenient on the iPhone in some situations like for mass transit some time ago.

Maybe I need to dig thru the benefits of the Watch 9 and see if I missed anything (vs previous gens)...

For anyone wanting East of Eden 4K, that's at ~$15, which might be the lowest it's ever been and might not get much lower, if at all, since it's not available thru Target nor Gruv.

Be aware that if you are checking previous prices with camelx3 , they don't include lightening deals in their price tracking. For example they show the cheapest previous price for Vol 1 of the Hitchcock 4K set to be $33 through Amazon. I know the set has been $30 with a lightening deal and it may have been cheaper with other lightening deals. They show the lowest previous price new from 3rd party as $26 . Unknown if the 3rd party charged for shipping .

They also don't seem to show current Amazon prices and at least one item I was looking at on Amazon this morning was claimed to be out of stock at Amazon on C3.

Not really finding any great deals on physical media.

Thought about I Love Lucy complete DVD set for $26, but I noticed it appears the first two seasons are out on blu ray. Is a complete series blu ray set coming maybe?

I ordered a Roomba Combo i3+ vacuum at 45% off -- plus another 7% in rewards for no rush shipping.. We have a low end model at our South Carolina condo that works well, but it must be emptied manually. This one is for our Michigan home. It vacuums and mops, plus is self emptying.
