I know Amazon isn't always the most reliable in terms of what specs are on future releases, so take this with a grain of salt.
The new First Blood cover is atrocious!

Here's the cover for the box set ... not much better:

As far as what's on the discs, it looks like Artisan took the special features from the previous releases (which were pretty good releases IMHO) and moved them to a fourth disc. Then they added a new documentary per film to each of the other discs.
Here is what Amazon has for special features on the new box set:
• Featurettes
• "First Blood: A Look Back"
• "Rambo III: Full Circle"
• "For Those Who Wanted more"
• "The Forging of American Heroes: American's Green Berets"
• "Rambo-Nomics"
• "Suiting Up: Rambo's Survival Harware"
• "Selling a Hero"
• Documentaries
• "An American Heroes Journey"
• "The Real Nam: Voices From Within"
• "Guts and Glory"
• Full-screen and widescreen anamorphic formats
• Number of discs: 4
(*) I think this is an error. It should say "George Cosmatos" not "George Morrell". George Cosmatos, the director of the 2nd film, had a commentary on the first DVD of that film. I bet all of the commentaries are the same.
So according to Amazon, they moved most of the supplemental material to the fourth disc, left the commentary tracks, added DD 5.1 and DTS 5.1 and 3 new documentaries. There might be some extra featurettes too. Not bad. I love the first film, but I'm not sure I feel like splurging for the box set.

I'm sorry, but I have to comment on that cover. Man that has to be one of the worse covers I have ever seen, what were they thinking? It hurts the eyes. Why can't they just use the theatrical poster art?

Please tell me this is some kind of mistake...

The RAMBO/First Blood films were shot in anamorphic 2.35:1!

Jerry, I'm sure it is. Amazon frequently makes those type of mistakes. I just wanted to post the documentary / featurette information. I'm sure if the original DVDs (also by Artisan) were 16x9 transfers in the proper aspect ratio, the new ones will be also. I think DVDFile also posted some specs saying they will be 2.35:1 as before, but with new transfers.

In reference to the American flag on the covers:

It's sad that a resurgence in popularity of patriotism is used by companies to sell movies.

Weren't the original disks dual-layer? If the new ones include both WS and P&S, wouldn't they have less space for the WS transfer than the old disc? I wonder if video quality is going to suffer.
