I heard these speakers at the outlet over the weeken and these things a absolutely FANTASTIC..even the bookshelves sounded incredible!.. I wonder why they don't really say anything about it here at the Forums?!
Maybe Phil can chime in here and give us some feedback!

    Have you seen the price?

I don't think many exotic audio stores carry JBL brand speakers and I highly doubt Best Buy would carry something this expensive.

Maybe if JBL had more speakers between their Studio Line and Tik line would they be more popular among audiophiles. Also, if they were more readily available for auditioning I think people would discuss them a lot more.

For those who don't know, their prices range from $1500-3000. In that range there are lot of other brands to consider and I assume most people wouldn't add JBL to their list.

The JBL TiK Series is their High-End Loudspeaker line, basically a speakers line for the cost conscience Rich & Famous!

The following is from - 6 January 2001 JBL INTRODUCES COMPLETE HOME THEATER SOLUTION AND ENHANCEMENTS TO HIGH-END LOUDSPEAKER LINES AT CES 2001

The towers look interesting, but $1K seems pretty high for a 2-way MTM center channel speaker.

    Jeff-

The FACTORY OUTLET was selling these (the bookshelves) things at FULL MSRP ($1200.00) each without budging on the price! We are talking REFURBS here!!

    They DO sound fantastic tho!

I know a place that offers a break on pricing on these speakers. If "seriously" interested let me know.

Those JBL's are not the mass-market Studio or Northridge Series.... JBL produces far more high end speakers for Asia and Europe than in North America. I will just "settle" for a pair of these JBL....

Of course, there are theses as well....
