Am I having to converge my RPTV too often? (1 Viewer)

I have a 3.5 year old Sony RPTV. I tweaked the convergence about a month ago - everything appeared as good as could be. I checked it last night -- the red had drifted significatly on the top part of the service menu crosshatch grid. Why did this happen? The TV has not been moved or touched. Could temperature change have done it? I have done comparisons like this before and never saw this much of a difference.

Maybe I should tweak my convergence every few weeks so things stay optimal.

Greetings

Assume that you give the TV sufficient warm up time before you start the work.

Usually recommend that people take a look at the convergence every 2 months when the TV is new. Sometimes can go up to 6 months without noticing much going on.

Keep an eye on it ... excess drift ... may be a sign that something is going.

Sam,

I have a 12" Velodyne --- but it's sitting about five feet away from the TV.
